- In 1984, I co-founded one of the first Professional Employer Organizations, Modern Employers Inc., in Sarasota, Florida. While growing the company from a concept into a large, profitable organization provided a strong sense of fulfillment, the most satisfying part was when I was interacting with clients on a daily basis. As we became bigger, I really missed not being able to personally work with clients. With this new venture, The Employee Management Team, my goal is to recreate the close personal contact I enjoyed with my clients.
